Mr. Rajeev Surana, Senior Advocate has been designated Senior Advocate by the full court of Rajasthan High Court and is practising since 1993. Mr. Rajeev Surana, Senior Advocate at the time of designation was already running litigation consultancy and legal services in the field of Corporate and Commercial litigation, Constitutional Miscellaneous writs, criminal law (including Bails, Anticipatory bails , criminal Quashing of FIR petitions appeals , revisions, suspension of sentence etc. ), Arbitration , Debt Recovery, property and estate law , Mining Cases , corruption, fraud and money laundering cases, along with various other fields since 1993 when he established Rajeev Surana & Associates, with a strong commitment with his forte of creating and making out a new point or new legal remedy in any complex matter with unbeatable strategy with numerous accolades of reportable cases which has led ultimately to his designation as Senior Advocate in the Rajasthan High Court.
Apart from, handling multifarious cases and tonnes of representations on behalf of Multi-National Companies and big business houses and handling matters pertaining to corporate, contract and commercial litigation Shri Rajeev Surana have handled cases on behalf of Coco cola, Big Pharmaceutical company, aster, Zuventus, Amazon, allen career, Institute, unacademy amongst others. Mr. Rajeev Surana, also have dab hand in criminal litigation as he has represented false implications of accused and their incarceration pertaining to accused embroiled with gangster Anandpal Singh, Lapaka Gang and famous cases of cheating with foreigners (dabba gang) and also in famous media hyped, murder and Rape cases and other various cases pertaining more than 10,000/- Crore scams namely Adarsh Credit Cooperative, Navjeevan Credit Cooperative and Sanjeevni Credit Cooperative society by securing bails for them.
He has also handled cases on behalf of Ex-MLA Shri Banwari Lal Kushwa, Chairman Geeta Devi and cases for and against sarpanch in various miscellaneous writs. Surana Chambers has also represented various army, Navy, excise, ED, officer of ministry of external affairs in multifarious litigations. The civil wing of Surana law chambers has handled high stake civil matters and property matters, eviction matters and matters pertaining various sports including cases of Rajasthan cricket academy in Rajasthan High Court. Mr. Rajeev Surana, Senior Advocate has been engaging in various litigation including mining dispute, elections matters etc.
Under him more than 300 associates have been successfully trained and are practicing as independent lawyers. Many associates have been appointed in the judiciary. Mr. Rajeev Surana, Senior Advocate is LLB and LLM with desertion in cyber laws with merit position. Mr. Rajeev Surana, Senior Advocate was earlier appointed as the penal lawyer of JDA, University of Rajasthan, RSRTC and Lakheri Municipality, Hindaun Municipality and various other municipalities as retainer. Mr. Surana is the author of Article – “Smart Legal Solutions : Applying Six sigma in spiraled and prolonged matrimonial cases”. Over the years the Surana Law Chamber has dealt with matters of national and international importance and high stakes over the course of its long standing legacy as it had roots since pre-independence i.e. since 1935 till date the chamber brings forward a long-standing knowledge base about Indian legislative practices since many decades.
Background
Senior Advocate Rajeev Surana is the 3rd generation lawyer whose father late shri Sajjan Raj Surana, Senior Advocate was Ex-chairman Bar Council of Rajasthan and President of Jaipur Bar Association and was the member of Bar council since 1987 – 2020, for almost three decades of unbeaten record representing as spokesperson for the law fraternity across Rajasthan Courts during his tenure.
Senior Advocate Rajeev Surana’s Grandfather, Shri Sukan Raj Surana, a noble practitioner of law had also served under the Maharaja of Sirohi. Advocate Rajeev Surana & Associates was renamed as Surana Law Chamber in 2022 as Mr. Rajeev Surana had to disassociate himself from “Advocate Rajeev Surana & Associates” when he was designated as Senior Advocate in the year 2022, “Rajeev Surana & Associates” is now functioning in a broad array of legal practices and field as “Surana Law Chamber” and is presently run by experienced lawyers who are working as member associates of Surana Law Chamber, the chamber itself with its long legacy has given the state numerous budding lawyers and has actively contributed to the upliftment of the lawyer community with family of over 500+ lawyer who have practised under the firm and grown into their own professional practice many of whom have and are also currently serving within the judiciary as judges and numerous title holders upholding the value of the chamber and carrying the legacy forward.
